I just wanted to thank you for conducting Uncle Malcolms service on Tuesday so beautifully.  It was a service which did him proud and I know it has helped me and my dad knowing he got the best send off in the circumstances.

Rachel came to visit my brother and myself about the service of our youngest brother, we were both apprehensive about this, but we shouldn't have been, Rachel put us at ease and we seemed to talk for ages about our youngest brother, she also explained about about poems and music. Rachel missed nothing out at the service and painted a vivid picture of my brothers life. Thank you so much Rachel for making a very sad occasion easier for us all. You did everything we asked of you, even though I know you probably thought our requests were strange and not the norm for a funeral but you didn’t question it and went out your way to ensure Dad got the send off he wanted, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Rachel has been fantastic from the beginning. Listening, advising, giving ideas for funeral service. She kept us informed throughout process, giving drafts of service in case of changes etc. On the day, she showed great professionalism, as well as speaking from the heart.

She made a difficult experience less stressful by her compassionate nature. Her sympathy and understanding in guiding us through the process of organising an appropriate and individual service for our loved one was invaluable.

Your mix of humour and respect was remarkable and it was obvious you really cared about Liz and the family and honouring my brother. Rachel has been second to none during a very stressful and difficult time for our family. She respectfully and happily listened to our stories and truths about my papa when she made time to hear our stories and never once rushed us or pressed us on how long our session took which was so highly appreciated. 

We asked for a lot of raw honesty in my papas speech not all of it pretty and Rachel did not shy away from that challenge and managed to work the speech to celebrate the man my papa was as well as acknowledge his failings as he did. I can appreciate how difficult that would be to strike the balance of doing what your client wants with still being respectful but I had absolutely no doubts with Rachel. 

The service was thoughtful beautiful and lighthearted with plenty of personality of my papa. 

I have no hesitation in recommending Rachel based on her attention to detail, caring attitude towards the whole family in a sensitive time, as well as very speedy service when it has to be as in our case only a few days notice was given and it did not feel rushed at all. 

Following my mum's funeral, my dad and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rachel as a celebrant. We both realised that we were in safe hands right from her first phone call. She was so generous with her time and created a meaningful and appropriate service with the thoughts and stories that we shared with her. She spoke so beautifully and made what could have been an almost unbearable ceremony into something special. She tuned into our needs and took great care with everything. Thank you, Rachel.

Rachael is such a caring person and the way she wrote about my mums life was as if she knew her herself. Rachel was such a blessing to my family at this awful time. She is kind and shows great empathy and captured my Dad's character perfectly at his service. Everyone commented on how lovely she was and that she got it spot on. Nothing was ever a bother to her and she was always there when needed.
